Location

Colonial Beach is located in Westmoreland County on Virginia's Northern Neck along the Potomac River, halfway between D.C. and the Chesapeake Bay. It is about 65 miles to both Washington, D. C. and Richmond, Virginia. It is about 30 miles to Fredericksburg, Virginia.  From Route 301, just south of Dahlgren, VA. take 205 east to Colonial Beach.  Turn onto Colonial Beach Ave, then right on Washington Ave.  Turn left onto Boundary.  Go to the end, about 2 blocks where you have to turn right onto Irving Ave. Follow Irving along the Potomac River. Irving will end, so turn left onto Augustine Lane.  This will turn into Castlewood Drive.  You will see the Marina by now.  We are on the point.
